Spiritual Formation through the Visual Arts with resources available online through visio-divina.com

Visio Divina is a program of Episcopal Church & Visual Arts, Inc. (ecva.org).
Visio Divina Program Goals:
1) the development of programming that prompts participants to deepen their living spirituality through sharing the experiences of those who regularly integrate art and faith;
2) assisting communities who are beginning to use art in faith formation;
and 3) matching funds from the program's major donor, Trinity Grants Program in Spiritual Formation, with an equivalent amount through additional grants, donations, and volunteer hours.

Visio Divina Program approaches:
1) affirming the arts and the artists in our communities;
2) exploring methods for discovering and viewing visual arts as they relate to spiritual formation;
3) developing and testing a program model that employs a sustained program of intentional reflection on the meaning received through the sense of sight;
and 4) strengthen the Visio Divina staff’s understanding of the qualities and quantities of successful grantseeking.
